Hey, thx for the instructions. I like my fender, but I just need to know
how to remove the rear fairing so I can lift the bike off the ground with
ratchet straps.
how did you take off the rear fairing?
Sounds like a scam to me…I see the Targa all over the net for $60.
Probably can get it for less if you search long enough.
What did you do with the parts you removed, I need a turning signal light,
if you still have them, my front one was busted, and they all look to be
the same, maybe we can work something out, if you still have them ?. yl

Yo! Thanks for the tutorial, helped me with the install. One thing — you
were saying you had trouble with the connector clips (for the wires
connecting the lights) and the thing is, you have to lift up on the plastic
latch to release it, not push down (which I gather you meant when you said
you used pliers). They separate pretty easily…took me a good half hour to
figure this out, though 🙂
nice job! I totally understand your frustration with the wires that need to
go through the TINIEST HOLES EVER in the fender, just to power the
blinkers. I replaced my blinkers with aftermarket ones. Should have done
the fender eliminator at the same time, because I have to do it again now.
IIRC it took me about 90 minutes to get them both through.
Thanks for posting, helped me get some turn signals installed (never took
an SV rear fairing apart before) and preps me for my eventual undertail.
Lol I like how you gave the fender a little kick. Understand your
frustration!
How much did it cost you for the kit?? They wanna charge me 200$ for the
kit. Is it a scam?? Lol

Yea some of those plugs piss me the hell off!! I spent like 10 minutes
trying to figure some of the ones on the throttle bodies out one time.
