I liked that you used that type of Fuel line.

Re-Thread Ryder says:

My stock 1.3 carb was a pos wouldn’t idle good, took forever to start, and sputtered a lot. I put a certified machine carb kit on it and it runs great! It doesn’t die on high angles either, didn’t even have to tune it.

Ramon Rivera says:

I know a person that had about three cars with those conversions and now as high as gas is going I would like to learn more.

You will have problems with altiduth heght diferences propane does not make it bether unless you actualy use high amplifier ignition system ore plasma ignition nothing ells will help that car have same problems even tought me engine is opel but still same 80s problems cars .
You need magnet alternator to run engine at low speed you need to modify flywheel and starter motor .
Propane shuld have pre warmer in winter time you will have problems with propane .
Your in deap shit if your engine use's ground ignition ore waste spark .
Propane ore any other lpg based fuel can explode so make shure that your engine is secured properly with insulation ore magnetic shilding.
Lot of those cars blew up because of safty meshures .
You probably know thats metal coffin peopel know those cars mostly because of death rate they are light weight .
Mostly I have same problems even tought I live in high moisture cold conditions so thats where propane will fail .

Liquid propane going to vaporizer or just vapor?

Henderson Land Works says:

Was looking at the comments and didn’t find a awnser… but how long will a tank of propane last? I’m debating on doing it but I’ll only be able to have room for one tank because I have a single bucket seat for my daughter to ride

Jose Ortega says:

How much is a conversion kit to propane? Thanks

Kelly Anderson says:

Yep, the Weber sucks for off-road. That weber was designed for "performance" street a long time ago with no consideration made for off-road. Problem is the way the float is setup. It starts overflowing raw fuel into the engine when you start climbing. The stock Sammi carb was better for off-roading. I installed the 1.6 fuel injected engine to solve all of these problems.
