Update on the life span/durability of this brand of wiper blades: They lasted about as long as the OEM brand, maybe a little longer, but that could have been lucky timing with the seasons.
I would be happy using these regularly, however, my most recent purchase was a pair of Bosch wipers made specifically for the Crosstrek. I've liked their Icon line of wipers so I wanted to try out these AeroTwin wipers. If the Bosch wipers flop, these Aero wipers will probably be my go-to replacement set. The Bosch AeroTwin wipers have been on the car for about a week at this point, so all I can report on them so far is that they connect like the OEM and Aero wipers (they have the guide that more generic fit wipers don't).
I tried a handful of aftermarket ones from Amazon on mine, and none of them lasted more than a week before they started to streak. A month or so before they were so bad I had to replace them. Gave up and just bought the OEM ones again because I know I get a good life out of them. I'll keep these in mind for next time. It looks like they're able to make use of the rubber inserts so you don't need whole new baldes everytime?
When you say you got the same life span would that include changing the rubber replacement they give with aero blades ?
I wonder if there is a conversation kit or a replacement wiper arms that accepts a different type of blade.

Thank-you !! I was really irritated trying to change out my wipers on my 2021 Crosstrek . Driver side was easy, then i got to the passenger side ..oh boy ..I didnt know I could modify the blade .

I just came back from Walmart with a second set of wiper blades that didn't fit. I thought I was stupid or crazy. Nope – Subaru just makes things difficult.

I went to subarus website to look for wiper blades, and they have apparently discontinued the entire thing. I just want the refill, i don't need the whole thing, but apprently that's not an option either. For the sake of stupidity you now have to buy these.
So update i got mine, they are not as good as the OEM ones, they have that one spot that they miss, just like in the video lol. But negligible, they have the same mounting mechanism, they fit perfectly and they came with 2 extra refills. For 1/2 the price of a "special order" part, can't complain.
