Missing something here… did install. Have illumination to factory stereo with zero power to climate controls… all illuminated tho.. what am I missing???
Is anyone able to explain why the open part of the dash without the stereo or anything looks different than on my legacy? Mines stock from 2004.
Hi, did you modify something for the radio to fit?
So I went off your video on my 2006 legacy gt and the head unit works fine but my hvac doesn't light up and I can't control it but it blows full blast. Did I mess it up? Or did I just switch the 2 plugs for the hvac? Any info would be helpful thanks
Would i be able to do this by just getting the navigation bezel?
Where can I order a set I been waiting to do this to my outback
Question: is there a way to…umm damn,i dunno how word it.
Can both 'new' flat screen and 'old' CD/radio be connected into the car speaker's?
Hey I have a 2005 Subaru outback and I'm trying to find a bracket mount for a single din stereo. I'm putting it in the same area where the pocket panel was located, but I can't find a bracket for it. On the back side there's a part number that says Radio Box 66204AG02A. I've searched everywhere and I can't find anything that's related to the part number or even something that could work in the car. Do you have any advice or know about a bracket that'll work for this?
I have a 2002 Subaru Legacy B4 (Japan). It has a navigation+HVAC head unit and a Aftermarket Kenwood head unit below it installed (previous owner). The nav unit does not turn on but the aftermarket unit works. Was wondering if they just pulled the wiring harness from the nav unit and put it into the new one? If so how do I fix it so both units will turn on/work?
Thanks but would have love to seen you dismantle that console
I have bought part for double din between air vents. Any support on how to install unit in there. I think I need brackets so that double din unit can fit in there.
Hi does anyone know i installed one in the top, but when putting it back together i lost the back illumination on the factory radio and climate control so the words and knobs dont light up red anymore. I don't think its the fuse since it still lights up red around my side mirror controls. Thanks i have a 2005 Subaru Outback Limited. So the screens light up with temperature and radio station, but the illumination is gone. Does anyone have a wiring schematic for aftermarket to climate control. Not sure which wire would be related to the red back illumination.
Anyone looking for this bracket, the OEM part number is 66060AG041
Hi There I have a subaru legacy BL5 twin turbo can I do The same cd player stereo in The some pace like this one because on the other video you said you have to do in the lower place with the air conditioning and so on.
Many thanks.
Is that the OEM center dash? Did you cut anything like the opening face?
Does a double din fit in there? Atoto A6 Pro
Hey, is that bracket in the newer 2007 Europe version Subarus aswell, if I had the flap compartment up there?
Looking for a Navigation trim panel for a neckless dounle din conversation, any leads or links to find a trim panel..
I will never forgive Subaru for this stereo/temp control abortion.
Hey dude, nice work on this. I think I'll do the same. Do you sell a wiring loom or know what brand/part number I can get in NZ to adapt the factory 2007 Legacy stereo to an aftermarket headunit? Can't seem to find an Aerpro one… Thank you
Hello, very good video, I do not use much English, so I did not understand your words, so I consult you, how did you do to handle the audio of the new radio, from the steering wheel controls? I have a 2008 outback and it does not bring auxiliary input. Thank you
Can you help me out bro…. like how did you take the frames out first? And awesome video mah’man
Much cheaper option.lol
Thanks man. This vid helped me install my stereo in my subie.
