Thanks for taking the time to post this video. I did it, found the graphite pile that I would have overlooked, and my 2005 shifts with finger tip smoothness. Had to replace the ball socket bushing on the base of the shifter rod. I could see the boogered bushing fetching up 1st gear for years. Replaced it with a universal linkage kit from Doorman that I found at Advanced Auto. Makes it fun AF to drive again!!!!

Thanks, you convinced me to start by removing the front seats, center console, shifter assy and lower dash panels. With that stuff out of the way the cables are easy to replace.

No no. You did to much. That shifter bushing is all you had to replace.

Easy i just fixed one for a friend. It s a tight space so becareful dont drop anything
