I would weld new metal in there on both sides these are great reliable SUVS.Saturns are great cars not like the brand new garbage car companies make now.New vehicles have expiration dates instead of building cars that last and owners can repair themselves. The only decent cars I know of are Ford's new mustang models and a couple of Toyota's vehicles.
Funny the Acura mdx with the same powertrain as that VUE just came through. Those V6 Vue’s used a Honda/Acura engine and transmission. Pretty cool little cars.
I visited the world’s biggest auto recycling center in New Jersey. The size of the Grand Canyon! A pair of men with heavy Brooklyn New York accents (Thug mafia like) brought up some tail lights and a long illuminated strip that goes across the back of a SUV. When they put them on the counter, the counter man hooked them up to electricity to make sure that everything worked. And then he told him how much each part cost, and that if they wanted to buy the bulbs they would be $.25 each. Otherwise he would take them out and sell them separately to someone else. These two guys lost it ! they were screaming and calling the people behind the counter Jews! And the manager came out of his office and he said yeah, I am a Jew. What about it and one of the guys hit him so hard he was out before he hit the ground. They took the parts with them and left! I just decided I didn’t see anything and I don’t want to be a part of this, but that is pretty chickenshit to charge money for used Bulbs. I’ve never seen anything so tacky. I’m sure the guy who got hit broke his jaw you might have gotten killed. He got hit really hard.
Would’ve liked to known the miles on the VUE! They also came in manual transmission and lasted forever! Such a reliable suv with great fuel economy like 38 highway 28/35 combo driving
"old dumb saturn", well you work at a scrap yard so yall pretty much only deal with VUEs and IONs no wonder why yall say that, the older S-series cars where amazing tho
I smoke idiots in V6 Dodge chargers/chalangers with my AWD Honda Vue.
who've thought that a steel framed car would rust out in only 20 years….

If the older Sars don't hold up very well, can you imagine about how the new ones will hold up ?
“All these lug nuts, next into the crusher”

It's a Saturn Vue as it clearly has a clear view thru it
We had one and it lasted a long time but we sold it.
“You’re not supposed to be able to see that”
The ghost of Saturns past: you weren’t supposed to keep this vehicle longer than 6 years
i wanna see that mdx, what happened?
We had a 2008. It had 150K on it but it rusted out. I miss it
Just take it apart and sell it for parts?
I’m starting to think you have a personal vendetta against Saturn
Btw that SC crush a few months back stung
