Also did you guys send your bumpers out to get re-chromed? If so how much
was it? I see a couple of reproduction bumpers I can get for 180.

This has to be one of the best floor section repair videos I have seen. I
enjoy watching all your videos very much. Keep up the great work.

catphish454 says:

ah…well..the full pan for my 69 chevelle is 900 bucks from year one….:-)

catphish454 says:

@ls6guy because sections are 300 bucks… a one-piece is a PITA to put in,
and 900 bucks…:-)

LeviMan2001 says:

Wow, just wow. That was an EXCELLENT job!

The69rscamaro says:

I thought the car needed to be sitting on all four wheel on the ground when
replacing floor pans.

V8TV says:

Properly installing a full floor would mean drilling all the spot welds and
breaking the factory seams where most of that material was in good shape.
It just didn’t need it. When we finished, you cannot tell the repair was
made, and it was less time than a full floor.

Kevinesque says:

You guys should take on a Buick project one day.

MrTlTO says:

That is a SUPER clean job, thumbs up.

Hey im currently repairing my dad’s 1969 firebird convertible and was
wondering what you would do if the floor was in good shape but around the
weather holes there is little rusted out holes. Would you replace the whole
front floor panel?

Scott Carlile says:

I’m working on my 85 Regal and this video really helped me………..thank
you

tdskip1 says:

This is a great series – very well done. Thanks!

CoolasIce2 says:

Great narration.

Ryan Gold says:

Excellent. Me and my dad had to replace the floor pans because they were
completely rusted out. we had to completely redo everything on the car
because the guy who previously owned it treated it as an outside car, not
as a garage car.

Stephen Bell says:

Thanks guys, some good tips to pickup here.
