Even for the simple jobs I already know how to do I like to watch a tutorial first, just got my hands on a S3 8V with the pre GPF EA888.3 so the 310PS one, pretty much the same as the 1.4TSI ACT Ibiza FR I had, thanks ECS! ☺️
I picked up Bosch plugs from Rock Auto for $8.96 each last week. NGK was just too high.
The coil packs looked pre-lubed with the green grease. No need for extra dielectric grease!
Pretty sure you need to disconnect your battery when replacing coil packs. Might want to add that part..
What’s the difference between the apr coil pack and ecs ones ? I would like to up grade
I prefer to put a bit of dielectric grease on the ceramic part before putting it in, this way shown will get them on the metal part of the spark terminal.
Does it mess with the computer? Dumb question

Would a piggyback tune necessitate replacing with colder plugs? Or is that overkill?
