Very common for cooling fans to go out on the Nissan Rogue Sport. If your AC doesn’t cool or your car is overheating then I would first check the cooling fans. Turn car on and turn the AC on. The fans should kick on. Give it about 30 seconds. If they don’t turn on then they are most likely bad.

Thanks for posting this! Had the fan issue in my 2017 rogue sport and with the parts shortage I ended up getting one on eBay for a really good price.
