PkwyDr says:

Really? What’s it hitting on, the fender?

Vernon Slack says:

Harder than it looks I am replacing a brake booster in a 1994 mercury cougar I have it ready to come out but no room to get it out

PkwyDr says:

I don’t have a vehicle to do that on right now but it’s a fairly simple process, you just remove the master cylinder via the 2 mounting bolts like i did then unbolt the brake booster, i think the mounting nuts on this car are actually on the inside so youll have to stand on your head under the dash, then theres just a pin you pull out that holds the booster rod to the brake pedal, it’s a very easy job, if i happen to do one i’ll be sure to make a vid. If you need more help holler.

Chris Hillman says:

hey dude. please make a vid on how to replace the booster. your 95 is identical to my 96 and my booster went out. my pedal drops half way down before the master cylinder catches. I NEED HELP!!!!

email me the video if you can – cshillman1984@gmail.com
