Hello All!
Today we begin the first step towards #tillerlife glory! I’m converting my Tracker Grizzly 1648sc into a 1648tl (tiller life). The motor is a 2019 Mercury Four Stroke 50HP. The parts we’re installing are mercury part numbers 879291A04 (big tiller arm) and 8M0082354 (cable kit). I think that you need to have the grey throttle/shifter cable(s) under the black wiring cable…. (If the manual shows different ok… but I am pretty sure I have seen it under on other boats…and it looks like it is creating stress on the wiring harness/cable. it maybe creating stress on your shifting cable thus that problem you spoke of in video)… I'm just a dude on the internet so feel free to ignore me .
