If your remote is working but wont unlock the car or lock it then first thing to check is the #8 fuse in the trunk. You can hit a puddle and short your alarm siren which blows the fuse its a simple thing to check and replace if blown.

I have a E220 CDI Merc (2003) and the FOB Key won't lock or unlock the doors (both my 2 FOB keys, with new batterys) nor turn the ignition. The little red light blinks when I press the buttons.

Cody we have a 2005 s430. The doors are locked. Replaced the key fob battery, key fob works doesn't unlock the door. Tried the internal key trick, did not work. The fuse box is internal and we can not get in the car. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi… My siren s not working. When the panic is activated, light on-off intermitent, but no sounf in the siren.
I changed the actual siren for another used siren and the same result: no sound.
I dont want to buy a NEW siren, becuase I dont knwo if the proble is the siren or the fuse (it exists) or the connection or arness.

Hi my car stopped locking via key fob over night? Why is this? Its a CL55 and suddenly the key doesn’t lock the car and only locks via dashboard button when you drive but nothing when you press the key button? Also this has made the stereo stop working!? All I did was replace the CD changer and this all happened! Rear headrests still work via button, so does left passenger soft close feature how would it be the pump?

My 2001 CL500 has no kind of connection with the key I checked all of the fuses and none were popped…one day I came outside to get in but I couldn’t because the key wouldn’t respond so I manually opened the doors and tried to turn the key in the ignition and it wouldn’t turn not one bit so I ordered a new key fob from Benz that cost $300 it came programmed and the same thing it didn’t work…do you have any advice on this ? I’m kind of lost and I don’t want to keep spending random money
