Instead, why wouldn't you buy the nicest Lexus, and not be such a lemming.
Mercedes discontinued their V8’s originally blaming fuel efficiency and later relented and stated they had reliability problems. Never came across a Mercedes V8 car that didn’t have a check engine light on. As far as your Christmas tree of codes I kinda suspect the diagnostic template in your device needs to be updated
My brother was a Capt in Germany at a us army base, he said german law is the older your car the higher your tax is on the car, so germans don't buy used cars.
German made crap. It's been like that for ages. Blame the assembly on Alabama but the part failures are all on the Chermans. Also, how do you know about the "quality" of the Cherman assembled cars with you living in the U.S? Most in the U.S. would be assembled here.

So my 2005 Honda Accord with 220,000 miles has less codes than this brand new Mercedes Benz, that’s sad
Scotty, I like you, like your videos, etc. I've been working on European cars almost exclusively for 27+ years. You are always going to find communication codes in these newer European cars because there is so much communication that goes on now between all the systems on the car and the 30-50+ modules that any given car has in them now. They never all can communicate correctly to each other all of the time, it just doesn't work that way anymore. Ask any master technician at any Acura, Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Infinity, Land Rover dealer anywhere in the world… the vehicles always have communication error codes in them, all the time! It doesn't make the car a complete pile of poo! So harping on them and turning Mercedes into a P.O.S. over that is just redicilous. Being made in Alabama where they probably love Trump more than their own mother, you may have a valid point there.

Why would anyone buy a car with all this crap on it ? Take this piece of junk back and get your money back .. Too bad he had the accident now he can't bring it back and unless Mercedes did the repairs there goes his warranty too
Guess the MB dealer just can't wait for the warranty to expire on this one, Poor guy, and like always Scotty is right.
If he ever divorces the judge is going to laugh and say "You get the Mercedes, she gets everything else!"
nono heres why i hate mercedes it will not last 300k miles or less then that because while that thing has problems every time the owner will junk it and get something less then that while us other people who are smart and use toyota or lexus products we still have our dream car or suv while it can last way longer and still living the dream
Why would any one ,spend 150,000 dollars on a car. Must be a joker .But Scotty sure had a good laugh at the owners expanse
Had a few MB. When you go to the dealer for a problem you may wait a week or two for them to look at it in Manhattan. The place is full of broken MB cars. You can’t even grease them to look at it before the others because everybody does that. I would take it to Queens and get good service if you grease the guy. I own Toyota and Lexus now and get good service if I need it!
