This was far harder approach than simply replacing the two buttons. I used another YouTube video to order and replace the buttons and not pull out entire control panel.

Both switches for raising the rear windows on my C class broke (the car is 4 years old and has traveled 50k km / 31k miles), the authorized service gave me an offer for €230… I bought the original part for €53 and following yours video changed it in 3 minutes. You can leave the (silver) bezel on, just remove the complete unit from the top. Afterwards you can replace the unit without removing the bezel.
Test before placing back. Bottom first.
Great video. All done in less than 5mins. Didn't need the tools because my trim is black and didn't care about scratches. Table knife was all i needed.

really junk that Mercedes uses. All window switches of my Mercedes C180 2021 have already broken.
