I focused on just the upholstery today. I rented a cleaner that has the attachment to do the seats and carpet. It made a big improvement so was definitely worth the time. Of course, this would not work on leather seats, which is not what I have. I don’t think leather would have survived like my cloth seats did. There are a couple of rather permanent stains but that’s ok for now.

That nasty water gives you a feeling of accomplishment for sure. It does look much better. Did you do the carpet also?
I think that you might have been going just a little too fast with the cleaner. You have to give it time to work. You might try it again at about half speed, just a suggestion.
