Notice you said R2 Concepts rotors, lol. Anyway I have a 2004 IS300, mines
where alot easier to take off for some reason, and I got the exact same
rotors like you did.
Can someone plz tell me what the part at 2:12 does ? Does it hold the pads
into place so it won’t jiggle around? Because my is300 doesn’t have it and
my pads rattling like crazy over bumps or just driving it sometimes now.
Plz help thanks
my pin on my 01 is300 rattles and ideas how to make it stop its annoying it
makes my car sound fucked up
is300 isnt brake drum is it?
Thank you for putting these DIY videos on here.. no one else does them for
the is300.. i will be getting rotors sometime next month and this video
should come in handy! Keep up the good work… thanks again :]
Awesome Vid… Thanks for posting this, made my four rotor and break swap a
breeze!!! Big Ups and again Great Job
Replace it or see if you can bend the clasp the pin holds back in place.
Something is causing that to make the sound. Hope that helps.
@TheR1ghtHandMan You bet more to come!
You are prob correct, I have an aftermarket bolt in there.
I have been very happy with these, so have many others on my.is no warping,
i break hard at times when i go to the drag strip. For the price a
definitive hell yes upgrade. If I had more cash I would have sprung for the
brembo’s at tirerack etc. Easy to do, just waiting on weather maybe make a
caliper paint vid coming soon.
Am I right wrong ? But it should be 21mm instead 7/8 ?
Thanks for the response and positive feed back the one dislike probably
drives an m3 lol. Did you paint your calipers as well?
ill try that but when i looked at it, it kinda looks to skinny to be in the
hole but ill try and do what you said thanks bro!
I used a 7/8 but yes 21mm fits better because its metric, may not have had
it around at the time
Caliper paint vid would be awesome. The stock ones look like shit. I don’t
know why so many car companies get away with calipers like that on a 30k+
car.
Great Videos man I appreciate you taking the time to put up some quality
videos. How did you like the rotors? I have an IS and was wondering if you
recommended the upgrade if my current rotors are in good shape?
Not sure what you are asking they are disc brakes?
