Does it come with the logo?
Do you know if all this will work the exact same on an 08 es 350
Does your emblem stick out on the top and bottom like mine?
The sides fit but it's like it doesn't have the right curve.
Did you leave it or find a new emblem.
I wondering if I can heat it and curve it that little bit.
Will this specific kit fit 2010 IS250C
Where can I get replacements for the fog light when the old ones go out?
Good video, I'm struggling with the space between the hood and the bumper, will try your method
Nice to know my 2010 won’t have issues with the brackets. Thanks for including those details.
Link of the LED fog light?
Do they have a conversion kit for the ES?
No use doing it coz it's not fitting right. Great work as seen in the video
Where can I get the front emblem to buy, to fit this exact bumper ?
Just curious. Is it worth trading my 2017 sonata with 166k miles for a 2011 is250 with 170k?
Can I use my stock headlight for my 2012
This will fit for a 2015 is350 right
I get the whole appreciation, because aint many 2is youtubers out there, especially with that quality of production, but man that's clearly not "The proper way", that's DIY.
There's a many things you actually did wrong, and others that made no sense…
That's gonna be a long comment, but there's a lot to say :
Why would you put the LEDs at that point? I mean, goes along with the whole "screwing on the emblem and removing the sticker" thing, that's not good advice for the people doing without any experience : Why do all that just to them remove it for painting? Why risk it?
You couldn't ever pay me enough to pull out a heat gun and point it directly at those Chinese polycarbonate headlights, it starts becoming soft at around 300F, which is "lowest temp" on many heat guns and "medium heat" on most models. That's a very regretable mistake if then, while trying to bend the bumper, you press on the headlight and make a dimple or a blemish on a brand new headlight…. One thing that would have benefited from the heat gun would have been those splash covers, to bend them up instead of cutting them if you ever want/need to put the oem bumper back, or maybe cut them correctly so you can screw the bottom lip of the bumper to it, it's your car man, not just some project sh1tbox, take your time and make it perfect
Another point of contetion i have is that fog light connection…. Man, it costs 1.25$ on Aliexpress to get the correct connector and make a clean instal
The fitment problem on the bumper was because you have the old brackets for the headlights, you need to change them so the bumper is correctly attached, and you wouldn't have needed to bring out the heat gun at all nor weakening the bumper supports. Another problem is the weather strip AKA "radiator grille protector", it's made for the 2011-2013 strip, and you're trying to fit the 2008 one (There's also the 2009-2010 one, which might or might not be compatible with the 2011-2013 one). It's 60 bucks brand new from Toyota, didn't check for used ones tho, so you have to decide if you drill or buy the part if you don't have a 2011+ model….
My biggest grievance with the whole video tho, is the horrendous hood gaps. The hood gaps man
It doesn't fit the fender, nor the headlight, nor the bumper…. Seems like you hit a pole with the car at low speed and just changed the damaged parts without fixing the frame damage
I don't like the sealing part, its uneven and not fitting at all.
Does that bumper get more HP for your car?
