Will this process work on a 2008 range rover HSE Im about to offer to help a friend do this job but I wanted a heads up if theres anything specific you can share that I should know before starting this weekend project. I have an 01 BMW X5 so I was thinking it might be quite similar, any thoughts would be appreciated

kuwaitmo says:

After you change the rotors and when applying the brake, did you feel the difference from the old rotors? And are the brakes stronger?

Great video, much appreciated!

Caine da Fonseca says:

I think the rotors are on the wrong side. As they move forward they should spin ‘out’ when dealing with slotted rotors hence forcing the brake dust out….

MalafaxDand says:

make sure to check the reservoir each time you push a piston back in. clean any brake fluid up very very well. you may have gotten air in the system or the new pads are not seated. did you grease the brake caliper pins. your vehicle is very different from the l322 Range Rover. your vehicle is actually an LR3

Great video. Did it on a 2006 RR SC w/ Brembos. When compressing first of 4 pistons the brake fluid can be heard squirting into reservoir in engine compartment. The 3rd and 4th pistons caused the brake fluid to overflow from the reservoir. Brakes installed. Pedal now feels very spongy. Any tips?

hunnie Yang says:

where did u buy the brake rotors and pads?

nysid2007 says:

would it be helpful to open up the brake resorvior cap open ???when pressing the pistons back in ?

nysid2007 says:

Extreamly well planned vedio! Especially the part where you have to leave at least one door open inorder to prevent the air suspension operating! Never heard this from anywhere!!! Thank you .You helped me a lot!!!

boconcepts says:

Very useful info, are those discs “sided” as they are drilled & grooved.

Shane Eaker says:

how did you get the spring back on the caliper? I’m having quite a challenge replacing the spring.
