Enjoyed that cheers, gave me an a better understanding of what a wishbone is and how they come off. Will you ever do a video on tracking just out of interest,And also is it hard to do ? Thanks

Scott Tanner says:

I say it's it's better doing it with the wheel on cos you can use it as a lever against the strut

Zed Man says:

Nice work buddy. No nonsense mechanics, I get times like that when I just need to get the job done. I'm not a mechanic by trade but do a fair bit of work on cars. To make my life easier I take the bushing off only a couple of bolts compared to the 6 😉

vansien says:

you forgot the large washer on the rear bushing, great explanation though. to all the doubters, he is 100% correct in that practically all garages do the short version of fitting stuff. if there quick way with a little persuasion then that the way it's done. time and money folks.

jaraisz06 says:

Of Course you have a 2005 Freelander :)) is the same car that you work on it and made it famouse :))

Patrick Kerr says:

hi mate great video just one question where did you get them long closed end spanners from

Mix Bag says:

did this not long ago on a mazda.i did both sides. the bolt was sized inside the bushing.so bad i had to cut the bolt out with a participating saw. one bolt snapped on torque up to spec so i had to replace all bolts too as the rest became loose over time even tho they were at correct torque . i used blue locktite on the new ones and all is good now. one thing to note thought you torque bolts up WITH load on the front wheels otherwise your bushings can tear and squeak

Badgertronix says:

Nice work. I thought it looked similar to a Ford Focus and of course it is near identical!
