Hi – thanks for the comments. I am pretty sure that the connectors are fool
proof – you can fit a connector on the wrong way – also none of the
connectors are interchangeable. Simon
hmm, im having some trouble with this. i have an ’08 range rover
supercharged. from the video the panel looks exactly the same. ive
unscrewed the 4 screws, (in my car there is another torx screw instead of
the bolt like in yours). ive loosened the bottom half of the panel by
pulling it like you showed. Although it took a lot more force than it
looked like you used in the video. Now something seems to be holding the
top half. Ive tried pulling it pretty hard but im afraid ill break something
Yes, I had to replace the cable. There just wasn’t any good way to
re-attach the cable to the pull mechanism. Getting to the mechanism was the
tricky part but putting it all together was pretty simple.
The exterior door handle on my mkIII has broke loose from the cable that
allows the handle pull to ope the door. Is there a trick to reattaching
that cable or is this a job the shop? -Sam
Really helpful thank you. Just one question – when removing the wiring, is
each connector different so you can’t accidentally plug them back in the
wrong place, or do you need to note where each one goes? Thanks
Hi, I’ve seen several of your videos, and have always found them very
helpful. Thanks for taking the time to do them as well as you have and in
such relevant detail. 🙂
Excellent. Easy when you how.

also tried gently messing around with different parts of the panel with a
prybar to see if they pull off but nothing seems to budge. any ideas?
I note your user ID is “we need to do something”… maybe taking a Range
Rover apart is something I feel the need to do…..
I have a 06 supercharged my door has the badge but it says Airbag yours
dosent is it the same process? many thanks john
Hi yes you can just pull out the badge and it will reveal the bolt behind –
same process.
HE MUST have taken the whole of this range rover apart
@Johnboyjws hi John I have a suppercharged Suzuki Samurai and its the same
process… except mine doesnt have any airbags.
Thank you for this video. Now I need to remove the handle so I can paint
the door 🙂
