You can't clean brake parts dry because there is a lot of asbestos dust adhered to it. Asbestos dust is worldwide recognized as CAUSE CANCER. NEVER in your life dry brush asbestos. I'm a 35 years experience at brakes.

Great video! I've changed front brake pads on older cars but I'm a bit nervous to do the ones on my 2015 Forte. But after a couple videos it looks like nothing much has changed with the newer models.

I have a 2012 kia forte hatchback is it the same procedure as your kia. My kia is still like new and drives beautifully smooth only 41.000 miles on it. i been takeing it to the dealership for maintnance but i want to learn to work on it myself just like i did when i had my toyota. what type of brake pads did you use. just from autozone or is their a specific model # you need
