Jared - Personal says:

For some reason I’m no longer getting an image on the screen just the @check entire surroundings” message. I wonder how to troubleshoot this.

Does it still working today? How is it? I've been thinking of buying one myself

I have the same jeep except the nav. System

Great explanation, I’m going to get a camera & make a video.

Thanks for making this! You saved me some broken panels!

Jack Darby says:

In speaking with the company on installation, I got some advice to consider. Flash the vehicle prior to the install and put in reverse to confirm you get a blank/static screen – confirm flash module works prior to doing a full install. Lastly, they suggested to remove the dash and connect the system to the monitor and power source (use taps so you can easily disconnect post this test). Now put in reverse and confirm all works. If it does then complete a full install. It is rare, but happens, where a full install is done and the system has a failure and needs to be returned – painful having to remove everything.

Ekatjam says:

Any makers of tire covers that match the height of the camera? All the covers have the camera hole in the center unfortunately

Rick Joyce says:

I have watched many of these, and this is a good one. I just ordered a camera kit for a 2017 Sahara wrangler unlimited. What strikes me as odd that no one did a power up test prior to running the wires, but I suspect the program step may prevent this test. I like how he MacGyver’ed the metal scraper with painters tape. I also wish these guys would do a layout of all the parts and tools used. I’ll update if successful but will hide in shame if I am not!
