Thanks a million for making this video, you have most likely saved me a fortune. I have the part on order. I have not removed the alternator before. Any advice on where there is a tutorial on this?
Hi I’m from Trinidad and Tobago and I own a Santa Fe 2004 and I just wanted to let you know this videos was excellent.
it is nice and practice thanks a lot
Please can someone help to found this part to buy? thx
I have a 100 watt one and some of those Japanese units give me headache.
They use semi-silver solder which has a very high melting point.
What i do is to clean the point where I want it to melt, and apply some flux on it,it helps all the time.
I have a problem lol.
My 2002 Hyundai 1.3 Accent. (looks same inside as the video) I stripped it apart and i tryed to remove what u did. But my soldering iron is 40Watt Pen Style and it will not melt the solder on the unit. 🙁
Great video!!
Please help!!!
I need this kit but its’n available at ebay. Were can I found it?
Thanks
great job martin
Great tutorial 🙂
Yep a new assembly gives you reliability, if you had just replaced the diode then later one of the others may have failed as they are all in a similar state.
