Our 03 Elantra coded out a PO755 (2nd shift Solenoid) and Everyone had told me that they had to take the transmission out to do this. I am so thankful to have come across this. Now I know I can do this. Thank YOu!!!

Greeting friend,
the range of the selenoids should be ?, when measuring these gave me

Eddie The Head says:

Hello again I am desperate for some help: do you know the position of the check-balls for rebuild.. 1 with spring and 1 just the ball that sit between the part with the galleys where the accumilators sit and the very upper where the actual soloids are.. I split those two parts by removing all of the bolts from beneath ..( D'OH! ) and of course those check balls ( 2 of ) dropped out I cannot find any information that shows this 'clearly'. I have the Hyundai factory manual but it is an exploded view from an above angle which is very poorly illustrated! Any ideas bro ?? Many thanks either way – Eddie

Hi, I have an 02 Kia Optima se v6 with shift issues. The car accelerates slowly and seems to have a problem going from 1st to 2nd. Although I have codes for shift solenoids b and c.. How would I know which solenoids to purchase?

Eddie The Head says:

Hello sir. I've got 2007 elantra auto, which after about 50 miles of driving, or much less, will give a loud clunk and a shudder, normally on deceleration and then it looses 1st gear and over drive-meaning that at 50mph it is doing 3500 rpm. I have changed the input/output sensors and I believed that the solenoid are either shorting internally or just weak after 200,000 miles. Any thoughts bro…??
