amen to that recommendation, that valve its a must save part….i broke
mine yesterday
Good job on teaching.
Awesome thank you, I have to do this tomorrow. Just got the Slave off ebay.
Champion Mate!!!
Anybody else notice he swapped the orientation of the rod between 3:40 and
4:38. Dont?
Good video man thanks im going to do this to my 1999 toyota solara v6
Great tutorial!
great vid man.. thank you
Some ass clown ripped me off. He said he replaced my clutch in my ’97 Ford
Escort with 132,000 miles. First new clutch. A few weeks later the clutch
pedal sticks. I starts off good for a few miles and then will not release
the gear. After it sits a few minutes, it is ok for a little while. I don’t
want to take it back to that mechanic because I don’t trust them. What do
you think it is?
Great job ;)
Thanks alot im used to working on my own big blocks. My 93 mazda b2200 has
been a pain in the you know what.
Take it easy on the obviously. It’s not always obvious if it’s your first
time doing it.
hey this video helped me out a lot thanx a lot man
wait so what did you put in that reservoir? brake or clutch fluid?
i see you with your gsr motor . nice video man lol ima try this with my
eclipse 02 gt . it will be harder but i’ll see if i can do it.
thanks, that helped a lot. working on a 92 Nissan truck
I’m trying to bleed my 87 Chevy truck I did all that
Still not working wut you think I need advise???
yah must be a real good product if you have had to use a couple of them
dumb ass
Thanks a lot for the video. Short and informative. Same with the master
cylinder.
I was pretty sure how to do it, its a straight forward swap. Especially
under a 1990 nissan d21 It was helpful to watch the video- just made me
more confident. So thanks for taking the time to post your video.
Thank you. Looks easy.
Thanks for the information. I have a 93 Escort and have a stuck clutch.
This may be part of the fix. Thanks again.
i was desperate to get this fixed quickly so i sent it off to the shop
before i saw this video. they want to charge me for 5 hours of work. is
that crazy, or does that sound reasonable? great video!
Good video. Another tip. If you put cling film under the lid of the
reservoir, it seals the system and you do not lose all the fluid.
hello, I am not a nearly a mechanic, but prefer to do things myself. I’m
assuming its the slave or master, it wont go in the gear if the engine is
running, but if i turn it off, goes in all gears as supposed to… let me
add the pedal isn’t soft it feels fine as it should, but neither slave or
master has any leaks that I can see, its honda accord 2006. can it still be
salve or master or is it a different issue ? thank you for this video, and
any advice .
Awesome video. I was just having problems with my 1994 Defender 90’s
clutch. I knew I had a slow leak in the master cylinder and just let it go
too long. Now I think I can do it myself. Thanks!
Thank you!
i changed the master and the slave, still wont go into gear, bled the thing
as well used a whole large size bottle of dot 3 in the process. what could
be the problem now? has afairly new competition clutch in the car, any
ideas as what i should do next? oh yeah its a 95 honda civic ex turbo
charged
I did a long time ago, I just gravity bleed now.
u a smart ass negger
The slave cylinder will leak out the boot 90% of the time if you don’t
notice a leak pull back the boot and inspect it,any sign of moist liquid
it’s bad.
Great video
great well detailed video !
do you have any idea where is my slave cylinder on chevrolet pickup
1989?.and where I can find that brand of slave cylinders?thanks
Just a heads up that smoke from burning brake fluid is HIGHLY toxic. Its a
nerve agent.
Depending on what vehicle, for a FWD vehicle no more the a 1-3hrs. A RWD
that’s a whole different story, with a RWD you have to pull the
transmission,at leas 6hrs.
Hello, I’m hoping if you might be able to tell me what my problem is most
likely ?
It’s inside the transmission bell housing. You have to pull the tranny out,
I know retarded. But you can bleed it with out taking the transmission out,
the nipple is on the driver side of the transmission right behind the
engine on.
I have a 96 chevrolet 1500 and they told me that i would have to drop the
transmission to get to the slave?
Nice, thanks for the video.
good informative video. What are your ideas on reverse bleeding as opposed
to using clutch pedal?
On the slave cylinder itself. looks like a bolt with a hole in the middle.
