If i buy this part will it fix my horrible camber???
Great videos. Should be called rebuilding the Honda Element by Sue and A1 Auto.
3:14 That nut is not removable. It is welded in. Just remove the bolt.
The inside nut is stationary like the outside nut. Loosen the BOLT. Use a long wrench or impact gun with extension and swivel socket from below. Comes off easy.
The honda service manual for a 2005 Element lists the torque for the rear upper controller arm as 93 NM or 69 Ft lbs.
I have the adjustable Camber arms from Moog. There is a little wiggle/slop in the connection to the center connector – the tolerances do not seem very good. Is that OK?
Does this apply to a 2010 CR-V also?
So, I have a stock honda ridgeline 2006 with stock rear control arms. got new tires, and also an aligment. tire shop was saying my rear toe was off, but none of my control arms are adjustable? was curious whats up with that
Can you ship in uae (middle east)?
This gal is quite competent with the tools and techniques. Good handling of impact and feathering on bolt removal, torch heat manipulation and thinking ahead with the anti-seize! Thumbs up!
Great tip with the bolts connected to align
Was that penitratimg fluod u sprayed afyer u heared up bolt
Whats the point of making adjustable upper control arms . the ones I have on my car aint adjustable. Most of teh after market parts are adjustable
what about the other bushing?
She had a problem with the upper bolt because nut is stationary. It's not supposed to move. She actually broke it off. Remove from other end only
Awesome vid! Definitely going to pick up a set of those adj control arms – thanks again 1A Auto
