I have a 1999 Honda Accord where the hi beams only come on if you hold the
switch. This sounds like I need to replace the switch – correct?

Scott McKell says:

I’ve got one turn signal that works (left) and one that doesn’t (right).
Thought it was the bulb, so I replaced that, wasn’t the issue. The blinker
for left works just fine but the blinker for right turn doesn’t work at
all. Could this be the same part?

1A Auto Parts says:

It may be a bad turn signal switch. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

@mono525 Do the marker lights turn on when you turn on the headlights?

1A Auto Parts says:

Possibly a pinched wire in the column, or possibly a bad relay.

Thank you so much! Without this video, I never would have been able to
install this myself and I would have spent a lot of needless money on a
mechanic. Very helpful, and I will definitely use 1aauto for future parts
purchases and install tips!

ondeado311 says:

I fix it it was a short from the radio it was easy just change the cable

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check the fuses, and also check to make sure that
everything’s connected correctly and that there aren’t any pinched wires.

Matt Rae says:

I had the same issue with my 02 civic, but when you’re sitting in the
driver seat, you know how the dimmer switch box is rectangle? the flat side
closest to you will have a little slit that looks perfect for a flat head
to slide in, it took a bit more torqing than I would have liked to have
applied, but it did nudge the switch loose, allowing me to slide it out to
the west, if you are facing north in the drivers seat.

1A Auto Parts says:

Your BMW would more than likely be quite a bit different.

freakyboyz101 says:

Hi i was able to fix my 99 accord mirror in about 20 mins thank so much!

difference with a 99 accord and this tutorial. Thank

I would check the fuse to see if it’s okay and it is it may be the switch
that has gone bad. Hope this helps you out.

E Alaniz says:

that switch you’re telling me about is the one i replaced and still the
turn signals didn’t work. is there any other recommendation?

MrBalladur says:

I will never thank you enough.

stupidcar1 says:

i have a 93 civic 2dr. my problem is that when i use the turn signals i get
the hazards. i checked my fuses they were all good so then i changed the
switch and same shit happened. i dont know what else to try.

1A Auto Parts says:

you might want to start by checking the fuses to see if any of them are
blown, if they’re good then try testing the wires going to the switches
with a test light. Hope this helps you out.

I have a 1997 Honda Accord , and I replaced All the lights minus the high
and low beams. I also replace the relay switch , but none of my turn signal
lights don’t work . Could it be the handle switch that is not letting it
work?

1A Auto Parts says:

We currently do not carry that particular part for your 1993 Honda Del Sol.
