Thank you for this!
Once again it absolutely blows my mind that such a poorly designed vehicle is a Honda!
What about broken fog lights???
thanks, very helpful
This is not apply to 2013 because the air intake pipe is still on the way he want you to take the upper assembly off. Not the same as your 2010
"The other side is easier" my ass.
For my 2013 you have to disconnect the wire from the bulb otherwise its impossible to turn. And if you have large hands its still a pain.
I just did this job today (12/16/24). Here's what will help because it was not a quick job for me due to the tight spaces. Yes you'll need to slide the air intake out away. Disconnect the top catch for the windshield fluid bottle to give yourself some more space on the passenger side. For the driver side, twist the assembly loose and then disconnect the bulb from the wiring plug, there was just enough slack to find a way to pretzel my arms to hold down the tab with one hand and pull the bulb out with the other. For the passenger side, I used a screwdriver to press down the tab with one arm and then wriggle the connector loose with the other. Then just twist the bulb out of the headlight assembly more easily. I have a 2013 Pilot and it did have Sylvania H11 bulbs installed, since we bought it from Carmax in 2018, they may have been added at that time, but I replaced them today with Sylvania H11 SilverStar. A stool or ladder will help you get a better leverage angle on the driver's side connection. It wasn't so much the amount of force needed, it was how you could find a way to apply it. I'm 5'11 my hands were pressed up against a lot of panel edges so be careful. I turned off the garage lights and confirmed both sides were working correctly as the passenger side headlight died last week so I knew the driver's side was going to fail soon too. Should be set for another 5 or 6 years depending on how much night driving i do.
This was a very helpful video. Thank you!
And imma go change my lights now
