maybe a dumb question, but how do you unlock/lock the car doors with the new key? you still have to see a locksmith even if you switch the transponder right?
I’m not a fan of those tamper proof screws. I just used regular 8mmx1.25×10. Nobody is going to steal my old Honda.

Did exactly as show and all worked out great!! Only I had my new ignition unit rekeyed with a local lock smith before installing ($80) and avoid having to cut out chips and carrying extra keys. Totally worth it in my opinion

Hey, question? My car has a bad stalling and shake, then it's turns to normal after about 30 seconds, I've changed all the sensors, and 02 sensors are still the same issue now do you think the ignition switch could cause this problem for the stalling I read it could be.
Curious do the keyfobs for keyless access keys have the transponder inside if so ca i just unscrew the back and pull out the guts and swap into need key case?

What about the door lock, do I just have to keep my old key? How will I move the steering wheel if it’s locked?
