You may want to see if there’s a vacuum leak in one of the lines in the engine bay or under the dash of the truck. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Duzer TV says:

my 97 chevy blazer only blows air through the defroster, as I can fix it?

kevin j wheeler says:

thanks mike for this video because i think this is what is wrong with my truck because is only runs on 3 and 4. i watch a lot of your videos to help me.

1aauto says:

Hi Bonnie, we currently do not have an auto repair video that shows you how to troubleshoot this type of an issue.

Bonnie Hoenow says:

I have a 2000 jimmy that has automatic climate control and instead of the resistor it has a climate control module. I get power from the orange, black wires when grounded to negative and power to the brown on positive B+. Fan works if I jump directly to B+. I have however no heat, any fan speed or a/c, defogger light indicators on the climate console control. Do you have any videos to assist for this? Thanks

1aauto says:

The location should be the same for that model.

Marcin Olczak says:

Hi just seen your video i have a 91 jimmy s15 4.3 is it the same location as seen in the video?

1aauto says:

This repair should be the same on your vehicle. We carry new blower motor resistors on our website 1aauto.com for your Chevy S10 Part Number: 1AHBR00012 888-844-3393

Fernando Wong says:

what if my s10 is a 2.2l?

1aauto says:

We currently do not have a heater blower motor video for that particular application. We do carry new blower motors on our website for your 1999 Chevy Blazer. It may be located under the dashboard on the passenger side, there’s usually only a couple of screws that hold them in place. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Ray Files says:

do you have a video on how to replace the heater motor in a 1999 Blazer??

1aauto says:

If it’s water it may be that the AC drain hose is clogged under the vehicle. The drain hose for the system should be on the passenger side under the truck. you could try to blow it out with an air gun. If there’s debris in there clogging the pipe, the AC condensation could definitely build up and leak into the cab.

jose antonio perez says:

i find water on the passanger side 02 blazer any idea i heard can be ac drain, or heater core, i can find the ac drain need help

1aauto says:

It could be the control unit or the resistor melted together.

pointzeroblack says:

Mine doesn’t work on any speeds does this still mean its the same problem??

1aauto says:

If the set-up is different for some reason in your application, if you have a Haynes or a Chiltons manual, it may tell you how to remove the you particular AC speed control.

johnk8692 says:

I have a 1999 chev blazer with automatic climate control and this looks different for that replacement?

1aauto says:

There might be an issue with the resistor or the switch. Best bet would be be to test both and then go from there.

moosedrummer1 says:

Mine works fine on 1-3 but won’t work on 4. Any suggestions? Thanks nice video.

1aauto says:

We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows you this particular repair. It may be your actuator that controls the door on the HVAC system, that selects which vent it comes out of. Hope this helps you out.

Craig Pate says:

I love your videos. My problem is my fan works fine but it only blows out the vents, not the flooor or defrost, also when this started the a/c stopped working. Do you have any videos for this?

1aauto says:

If you have lost the lower speeds. It could be the speed control.

demented12 says:

My Chevrolet s10 cooling a/c doesn’t work, just the fan when I set it in number three,A/c clutch works perfect, but when a put the freon ,still not work.
could it be the same problem with this piece?

1aauto says:

We don’t have a video that shows you how to do that. There could be a pinched wire somewhere. You might want to double check the wiring.

ismael irizarry says:

I drive a 2003 ford focus. I ran into this exact problem. Fan worked on 4 not on 1, 2, or 3. I found and replace my resistor and everything was fine for about 3 weeks. Now the fuse in the engine compartment blows immediately if I seet it to one. I’m guessing I have a short somewhere between the switch and the blower motor. Do you have a video for tracing the lines around the dash to find a short.

1aauto says:

Thanks, I know the old one is long but that is what we are about. Thanks for being a loyal watcher.

I like your new intro, Mike.
