Thank you … This happened to me two days ago. Lucky a mechanic was at the convenience store. He slipped it back on, but also informed me to come to his shop so that he can replace the entire shifting cable.
But watching you video, and foloowing all of your instructions….all I need is that bushing.
I hope I get a reply. The knob on the left top of gear in my car isn't working.. resultantly gears can move up and down.. so even if I am driving the car can go on reverse Also I can change gears without applying brake when I start. Help plz
This video was a huge help for me in determining the nature of my problem and the repair needed but unfortunately I am really struggling to find the correct bushing that fits my 2003 chevrolet trailblazer.
