Alan Kirkwood says:

I checked with this guy to figure out what's wrong, not to have someone bad-mouth my vehicle. Some people just like to hear the sound of their own voice and it doesn't matter what comes out of it.

Nette Spankins says:

275k miles on my 2500HD silverado. Nothing breaks! I beat the crap out of it too! Best truck ever!

Zippy says:

I've been looking for a while. Hopefully it's that simple. Thanks

Mario Richards says:

Titled "Easy fix", watch the video for 6mins to have him end it: "Huh… the code is still there. I dunno."

Most disappointing finale since Seinfeld

10 Second Channel says:

That EVAP is also what makes the gas pump stop every time you get gas. Just change out the solenoid canister you’ll be good. Even though this is a old video

Mason Comeaux says:

Tundras are badass!… titans..not so much.

Esef Are says:

1st gen Silverados are pretty solid trucks.Seems that with each following generation the build quality and reliability falls off.The new one's are even worse.Driveline vibrations, electrical issues and cheap plastic throughout the vehicle seem to be the biggest issues.

Atiba Wallace says:

lmao chevy boys mad at you … he's right tho the regular gas engine Chevys are built cheap … that tundra is built way more solid .. he ain't talking about diesel engines guys dont be butt hurt

James Bierce says:

Cheap? WTH That's BS. My 2008 Silverado is rock solid and will remain so as long as I own it. All you need to do is take care of the damn thing. A Tocoma will fall apart if you don't take care of it. You don't know what the hell you are talking about. Post less.

Montgomery says:

I live on a ranch with a half mile dirt road my Chevy has just under 300,000 miles I have never had this problem, I wouldn't trust this guy to work on my vehicles

Montgomery says:

This guy is absolutely clueless purge valve for this vehicle is about $15 you can get it off Amazon with free shipping what a door knob

Vince Williams says:

Is this the same on a 2008 chevy suburban ltz 5.3

jetlink says:

You were swapping back and forth between different ECU’s on the reader.

dwayne kirk says:

That is not a purge valve. The purge solenoid is located on the engine.

Yeesss Sirrr says:

Sometimes if your lucky you can just change the evap canister and that fixes the problem

Simple Living says:

What a waste of my fucking time, you sir are a moron, i didn't expect this to be real thanks for confirmation

Keith Rossman says:

SILVERADO'S HOLD UP ABOUT THE BEST I'VE SEEN. BEING A CAR DEALER,HAD A COUPLE HUNDRED OF THEM. TOYOTA TOO 95-06.

McC Alexander says:

"Huh, I don't know, code is still there." Appreciate the honesty but not sure I trust anything in this video. Especially his "Silverado"

Lisa LeFaive says:

Just curious what's the name and part number of that black box (filter) to in case just blowing it out won't fix it and needs to be replaced?

Josh oski says:

There’s a much easier way to do this. The filter is clipped on to a pipe. Follow the hose up. Unclip the filter/hose and pull the hose and filter out. You can then clean it or replace it. It takes about 5 minutes. Walk the pipe and filter back up into the undercarriage and clip it back on.

Jimmy Taylor says:

The Toyota’s are American made as well there smart guy.

Edward Thayer says:

Definitely, I have a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado I bought new and it's the biggest piece of shit I've ever owned. I was warned about buying this turd. Thanks for the video.

topnotchmustang says:

I agree that Chevy has a lot of problems my Chevy Silverado overheats took it to the dealer and they can't even figure it out

DJ51011 says:

223,000 miles on the chevy and only has this code now..so what's cheap? i can drive over your Tundra and call it a hub cap on my 76 F-150

Fpv STUNT says:

P0446 is electrical circuit malfunction, you should check the plug on the evap purge valve , or valve itself , also if you look at live data / freeze frame data it will tell you what's going on with the valve . Should be going from on to off in live data when purging

Chris Watters says:

I have a 2008 4.8L ls Silverado and Im getting P0446. What does the evap do?

Cody Brown says:

It says circuit … that means electrical why did you clean the filter lol. The filter has nothing to do with a circuit.

George Tamburi says:

My 2003 gmc sierra 5.3 has 489000 miles all original doesnt owe me anything and no major repairs still going strong lets see if your reliable tindra or nissan can claim that .i just got rid of qx56 didnt make 90000 miles and nothing but problems .you know jack . I pull a 26 ft trailer all the time. Dont diss what you dont know what your talking about .

Alan Vetal says:

Anyone else notice that he states this is a 2008 Chevy Silverado as the camera is pointing to the side of the truck that clearly says Sierra? (I know Chevy & GM, same thing, but makes me wonder…)
