You know, that thing looks exactly like a blend door actuators. And from what I know about GM blend door actuators, they fail. Those plastic gears always break. Because of that similarity I m not surprised…
Why show the bad gear so quickly after you showed the valve in the bore in such detail? Did the teeth shear or the gear cracked, etc? What is the big secret?
What a wortless video!
Why do we exhaust pipe valves ???
What a worthless comment

Sad day when a American made Caddy sounds like Jap rice burner…….
Common Failure, Woopee !
It's a small thermal exhaust port, right below the main port.
Cheap plastic gears on a hot exhaust? Sounds about right. Almost as ridiculous as plastic water pumps.

Plastic junk

Whats the point in exhaust valves like that? It seems like a needless point-of-failure to add to the system.
You need a weapon to surpass plastic gear…
Don't put it close to the heat source and it should be fine
Take the fuse out keep them open
Ridiculous how much plastic is in these new cars, and in places where it doesn't belong.
(Is the valve supposed to cut down on exhaust fumes or is it for sound only?)
Is it still wirth buying one ats/cts v?
Crazy with all this plastic shit. As bad as BMW
He left out the part with the pretty seat covers.
