I wonder if this is the thing you need to do to install a tachometer on an
82 c10?

j4k3shneg says:

Watched a few of these videos and why is it no one wires things in
properly? Just jamming wires straight in to the fusebox.

Paul C says:

@electus7 Of all the things to point out in this video LOL

andy b says:

so in the coil you just need to hook it up to the negative???

Daniel Westerhouse says:

what motor is in it?

Paul C says:

@WeAreTheRebellion You will check the wiring diagram for your vehicle to
see where it can be hooked up.

Paul C says:

Check your fuses bro.

22Indios says:

Is it the same for a 96 Firebird??

j4k3shneg says:

well you could tap in to the existing wires using proper connectors or by
soldering them in or running a separate power source straight from the
battery with its own fuse. Its the way id do it anyway, fortunately my car
already had the wiring in its existing loom when i installed mine.

Paul C says:

@raiderhope Then you gotta be the only simpleton in the world

Paul C says:

Thanks bro I’m glad to know that when I’m 30 I’ll still be sounding like
I’m 15 LOL

liam young says:

87 blazer btw

Paul C says:

@st7ng I’m not sure how a 72 Ford wiring is, but look it up and and the Red
hooks up to a Switched Batt. Green goes to the negative on the
coil/Ignition and white is illumintion which hooks up to pretty much any
“light” fuse.

Holy cow, I’ve been looking for an explanation of where the green wire goes
on remote coil TBI V-8s for an hour, and this is the only one that shoes.
Everyone else says “The white wire” but there are two white wires on the
coil!
