Came here to see the connector removal specifically. Now i have to search out another one of your videos. To watch a bypass video that you didnt even link. Thumbs down
Good video you didn't talk about dropping the steering wheel
FYI Dorman makes a metal replacement for those heater hose connectors.
Imma just take my 2004 yukonxl to a professional I do know how to remove the dash and the other stuff I’ve done it before I replaced my dash it’s cake but this is a bit to much and I don’t have time so imma take out as much as I can and put my parts in my room then drive it to the shop to make it easier for them
Did you leave the dash inside the vehicle? And were able to remove the core?
Had mine torn out in 4 hours now putting back together
I needed this video twice. July 2023 and October 2024. Two different trucks, same blend door actuator R&Rs. The service procedures for this are vague. This second time around I just needed to review 1 minute of this video. I had forgotten the order of metal subframing and upper dash removal. Also forgot about the hidden side, middle bolts, and airbag removal. So glad I re-found this video. I’ve been looking for it for almost a week. Finally found it searching Silverado HVAC assembly removal. Thank you for doing this video x2.
As a Mechanic I still ask….why the EF did they start burying the heater cores under everything.
Why not just look at your RPO code to determine which heater core to get?
There are many things removed in the video that can stay on dash.
