I had heard that the DOD engines had higher volume oil pumps but that I
shouldn’t put one in my non DOD engine. But I don’t know why? A higher
volume pump is always desirable isn’t it?
What does increasing the oil volume do exactly? By putting in one of these
pumps in my LS1, what performance changes can I expect?
I installed a 10295 a few weeks back on a stock engine. Works perfectly and
seems to be a high quality piece.
