Hmm.. its a leak down test.. if the number entering is the same as leaving, you have 100% leak..The lower the number is better it is. Normally, I want to be under 10 psi. I would retest all other cylinders to compare the readings between cylinders.
This engine was over reved and that’s what causes damage. I see it all the time, especially with manual transmissions kids miss a gear and the engine RPM IS OFF THE SCALE or way too high
For anyone wondering these cars are very popular among beginner car enthusiasts and new manual drivers this is a classic case of a missed shift over rev resulting in a floated valve he was probably trying to quick shift when it happened
