Are all tools cast like the drive on that ratchet?? I'm no wrench monkey but I always figured that steel tools would be forged and hardened… ya know, to be tough. I'm pretty sure I've seen bent wrenches, which would lead me to believe those were not cast.
Agreed to replace the front hubs and install a muffler on a friend's truck. Took like 6 hours spread out over 3 days just to get the rotors off cause they were seized on so bad. Also, as soon as I took the passenger tire off, I noticed he had a torn CV boot, so add that to the to-do list. Ended up taking my a full week, including taking a day off of work. After I finished, I told him, "If anything needs fixed on that truck again, I don't know anything about cars." Lol
I gave up in 2022 after a decade in the trade. I'm happy I learned what I did, but what an absolutely miserable industry. Joined the IBEW and I'm making more now as an apprentice than I was as a mechanic.
Hey now don’t blame the customer cuz you shop cheapest harbor freight tools. Then clearly poured metal not forged
Either that was already broken or you need better tools bud. After looking really closely. It was definitely broken before

Welcome to the real world.
You would think, he would use a breaker bar. That looked like nothing but a cheap wrench anyway.
Yep cheap tools from company that used to be good now are cheap and break so what it's 4.99 go buy more if they break
Sirmugman
That's why God invented breaker bars.

Why would you not spray any penetrating oil?? Kroil is like freaking magic. I used to use pb blaster, but kroil is in another stratosphere.
Keep using that duralast
tool made out of frozen butter

That truck looks identical to my own. It looks like it went though a war but it was $500 and runs fine for what it is
Don't buy Dollar Tree tools.
Buy real tools
