Where are you located so I can send a rack and pinion I need rebuilt
I’m doing this exact job and the video helped. My belt was severely damaged and the bearing assembly that rides on the worm gear is toast. Would you know where to get the bearing assembly too? Appreciate the video. The job of dropping the whole rack I s easier than it looks.

How did you get the three slotted nut off to change belt
How did you know it was the belt? Was there alot of slop in it like it stretched or was it really worn down?

I have the identical one to yours. I’m trying to put the belt on with the tensioner completely off. But I still don’t have enough belt to reach around both gears. Is there a trick to put it on there? Am I supposed to put the belt on the smaller gear or bigger gear first.
