Having the exact same issue. I’ve ran through all the steps you did, the only thing I could find is I have 2.0 volts on can bus + and 2.0 volts on can bus -.(break out box 14, 16). Should it be closer to 5 volts?

i have a 2006 pontiac g6 gtp that starts up no problem each time but after putting in drive, the speedometer does not move and error displays on the dash. the shifts are rough and afte some time of drivimg the vehicle the error goes away and speedometer works. my mechanic replaced the BCM and reprogrammed it and it worked fine for 1 year until recently it started doing the samw again. can a bad ground be causing an intermittent error on dash? thanks in advance!

Tengo el mismo problema
Good video my friend keep making ones like this wiring is our down fall we never had exposure to it in school enjoyed the video got something out of it having similar problems on a 08 malibu 3.6
Thank you so much for this video brother. I have been having the exact same issues with the exact same car & it was that same ground that you pointed out. It's been like that for over a year. The engine wasn't recognizing the key. I had to hot wire the starter in order to go to work. The ground on the back stud was the issue. The solder on the ground didn't hold so it wasn't making any contact Now my G6 has full power & starts on the key! Again.. thanks a million
Great video and the explanation
