so does it matter what wire you use for ground? i tested both ways and i
couldnt tell a difference
How did you determine positive and negative?
you know you have to check the polarities of the speaker reversed
polarities will cause out of phase
+176villa Yah, get def over speakers running off the deck… Not.
what if u don’t have a soldering gun?? what else can u use..
Get deaf young
Those are the same speakers I’m getting
@nirvanarocks83 in essence you can but the way the fella did is cleaner and
you get the best sound quality
@PaulWeeeezy Not yet, I’m thinking of it though. The carpet needs to be
replaced and when I do that, I am probably going to run wires for an amp
and sub.
I just recently bought a F 150 Because im 16, Thank you for this Tut, My
father is gone most of the time so i can’t do it myself really. (: Thanks
for the Video!

Just to bring it to everyone’s attention, a user, who will remain nameless,
stated that it matters where a put the wires. It most definitely does not
so as long as you follow the same pattern around the vehicle. If you do not
follow the same wiring pattern around the vehicle you will notice that
whatever speaker it is, will be out of phase with the rest.
@IAmFurrret – You’re welcome! 🙂
I wished you would of uploaded the vireo of the back door
Could you use the same wire of the old one for the new one?
I’m thinking of doing this to my f150. Did you have to install and amp and
did u install a subwoofer?
Is it necessary to solder them?
Good video I wouldn’t put anything pioneer in any of my vehicles though.
The third door is easy. Just take all the paneling off, most of it clips on
and there are a couple screws. Then you have access to the speaker. The one
behind the drivers seat is very difficult, I just ended up pulling it back
enough to get the speaker and my hand in there.
it’s a great video but i have a question how do i remove my back left door
panel to change my speaker ? do i have to take my bench seat out to replace
it. if so, how do I take it out? thank you
@Shietz401 major tom by shiny toy guns
hey man, i like your vids. I was wondering how hard the third door and the
section behind the drivers seat was to get off and change the speakers. im
looking to do new ones on my 1998 F150 but the side wall behind the drivers
seat looks difficult to take out, how was it and did you do a video? thanks
for the videos!
Yep! lol!
that is exactly what happened when i did that speaker lol. Just pulled the
panel back a bit and crammed the speaker in there. What a pain that was..
