Thanks for the video.

chinliando says:

@APDTY no i didnt. should i do that?

MrFredy123456 says:

ok thank you

finbar93 says:

I recently replaced my IMRC while I had my intake off. Now that I’m putting
it all back together, I can’t figure out where the 2nd hose (the one on the
bottom) on the IMRC goes. I get that the top one goes up into the nipple on
the manifold. Can’t find where the other one goes.

cameracreations says:

i got a 3.0, 2004 and i dont see the valve anywhere is it different on my
truck?

Christopher Pausz says:

@APDTY – the check engine is not ‘on’ so maybe all is good. I really won’t
know until I drive it more as it has been mostly sitting for the last 4
years with occasional start-ups to keep the battery alive. I’m in the
process of doing anything I can to get it running good. I will check out
the vaccum hoses. I’m still learning where everything is and these type
videos are very helpful. Thanks!

chinliando says:

The small hose that connects to the manifold was messed up so i replaced
it, but my check engine light still on. the only code it had thrown was the
imrc code. can it be messed up

Dave Russell says:

I found that a broken vacuum line was causing my p2004 code. Thanks Guys!

john mervine says:

thanks 4 the video it was the bottom hose like this video easy fix !!!!

Stephanie Pinkerton says:

I have a 2006 Focus that has this same issue…do you have this in stock if
so what do they run? THANKS!!

Alberto Mota says:

Where does that bottom vacuum line of the IMRC travel to?

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

@chinliando Did you clear out the codes after repairing the vacuum line?

Mike Diggs says:

how wouldyou change this on a 01 f150 4.2?

cameracreations says:

i got a 3.0 2004 and i dont see it anywhere?

Christopher Pausz says:

does an older 96 ranger use this part? I have a rough idle

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

One of the lines would go to a vacuum source (Intake manifold) the other
line will go to the IMRC Actuator itself. I believe the actuator is on the
backside of the intake manifold near the firewall.

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

The vehicle you are working on should have a vacuum line diagram on the
“Catalyst” sticker somewhere under the hood. That diagram should help you
figure out where each hose goes.

Michael Delgado says:

Thankyou!

Juvenal Oseguera says:

2005 Ford Focus ZX3, same code p2004, Had a crack in one of the lines,
Great help.

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

@chinliando The code will not automatically clear after you fix the
problem, because it is stored in the memory of the PCM as a “History Code”
you need to clear the PCM either by disconnecting the battery for a few
minutes, or using a scan tool to clear the codes.

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

@iseecheese Actually on the 3.0 ranger, there is not an IMRC system.

MrFredy123456 says:

good video excuse me sr. I have a cuestione my manifold truck it turne RED
like fire do you know why it is happening? my truck is a ford ranger 1994
2.3 thank you and God bless you

tubesteak0u812 says:

I have replaced about all of 3 of these things on Ranger and Focus, these
things rarely go bad

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

Sorry about that, I fixed the link in the description and it should bring
you to the part now.

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

@chitownchill The older rangers do not have this part, if yours has a rough
idle, I would check for a vacuum leak, they are very common on Fords and
will cause a rough idle. Is your check engine light on? Thanks!

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

When the manifold is glowing, one of the most common reasons is a timing
issue. The first thing I would check is that the Timing Belt timing is set
properly.

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

@chitownchill If it’s been sitting, it might just need to be driven hard
for a bit, A fresh tank of fuel and a good flogging can actually do wonders
for a vehicle 🙂

cameracreations says:

@APDTY that explains it, i guess i had it tested and it came out as 2 dead
injectors- any advice? i know i could have the shop do it for $600ish,
replacing the whole set with a set of gaskets and seals.

Abrams1970 says:

great video, thanks.

Craig Mathis says:

Does anyone know the part number for the IMRC? I cannot find the part to
order of your website.

cameracreations says:

i got a 3.0, 2004 and i dont see the valve anywhere is it different on my
truck?

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

@iseecheese Actually on the 3.0 ranger, there is not an IMRC system.

joshefosho says:

Thanks for the video! My lower hose had a crack in it. Autozone was kind
enough to give me a free hose too

losmoreno2012 says:

I have a 05 f150 and does everything that ranger does! Beside the check
engine light coming on and off . I was wondering how much that part cost
and how to replace it.? Is it the same like that ranger???

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

Any generic vacuum line of the correct inner diameter should work.

MrFredy123456 says:

thanck you sr. I realy appreciate your help God Bless you

Conrad Frame says:

what is the techical name for these hoses? I am having a hard time finding
them. Is this just a general type of hose or is there something specific?
