Thank you very much for your video. It helped me understand how to do it myself I followed the video step by step and the procedure is identical for my 2004 Expedition. Thank you for your extremely detailed and helpful video, I sincerely appreciate it.

Andy Brady says:

This was a huge help! I have a 2004 Ford Explorer. I checked on their website and other auto parts stores around me, and none of them had this exact replacement for my vehicle. I had to end up cutting the wires so I could use the new adapter. It wasn't too difficult. This video was spot on to get me to that point. Thanks!

candice byndloss says:

Just wanted to say thanks for the video. I was able to easily follow your direction, get my brake light switch changed out myself and I'm back up and running!

Jorge Aviles says:

Thanks! Just replaced mine in my 2004 F150 STX, worked perfect! My brake lights have been going in and out for weeks.

HI, my reverse lights don't work when I put it in reverse. My backup sensors don't work aswell, I'm assuming they work together. What can the problem be? Thanks 2005 ford f150 2wd

Keith Kerns says:

Excellent. Fixed my 2003 F-150.

Daniel Amezquita says:

Thank you!, It is the same procedure on my Explorer 2004. Now to hunt for the replacement, it is expensive here in Mexico.

Jake Vick says:

I have an 2004 F150 and only the driver side brake lights are working, both braking and turn signals. I replaced the passenger side brake bulb, and it didn't fix it. Then i replaced the fuse on #36, still didn't fix it. I'm left without a clue. Will this switch fix cause only 1 side to stop functioning, or would it be both? Thanks

Gabriel Yaiva says:

Thank you, very helpful, very much appreciated. I used this video to change my stop light switch today on my Expedition. Thanks again, Gabe

Landon Carpenter says:

This video was very helpful with replacing the switch. However, after installing the switch I have encountered a thud noise along with a shaky feeling. When I put the original switch in all of this goes away, but the brake lights don't work. Do you have any idea?

DocHolliday45LC says:

I'm guessing a 94 Ford Taurus should have the switch in the same location? thanks

Freddy A says:

what about on a 2002 ford mustang v6?? please help

Thomas Stewart says:

question sir, I have a 2004 Chevy suburban, and my brake lights stayed on which in part drained my battery. my daughter thought it was my alarm going off, being that it's sensitive… when I came out the next morning my truck wouldn't start nor could I get the doors to open via alarm… I'm going to get the alarm serviced, but do you think it went dead due to brake light switch staying on all night. I have to walk back and check to make sure they're not stuck and if it is I usually tap the brake pedal until it goes off… thanks I'll wait for your reply

bluetoy91 says:

Any idea why a 3rd brake light is inop but the tail light brake lights work? On a 04 f150 super crew XLT

bmxmz says:

the brake light switch installed from the factory on my truck (2004 f150 new body-style) has a 6-pin connection. what are the additional two pins for, and would i be okay installing this 4-pin connector? If it matters at all, I do have the trailer towing package.
Thanks guys!

Stephen Shockley says:

Will this work on the 2003 F150 trucks?
