as a guide. Thanks ,FordTechMakuloco, for making and posting this video.

Tyler Films says:

I know how to fix it GET A “REAL” VEHICLE

FordTechMakuloco says:

I have never had an issue removing the bolts for the anti roll. A little
rust penetrant is advisable of course no matter what. Yes where are the
pictures located

JOE DELUCIA says:

hi Brian just got your message I heard that one of the bolts can be
difficult to remove because of rust and corrosion . also re the ramps I
always use wheel chocks with them. re the bolts that I see sticking up I
took some pics if you want to see

FordTechMakuloco says:

Not sure which bolts you are referring to but I am sure they are supposed
to be there. Yes you can use ramps in the rear but make sure its in park
AND parking brake is on as they are natural free rollers back there.

FordTechMakuloco says:

Remove both bolt pull mount and check out the cavity it sat in the
subframe. No engine support needed may roll a inch or so but that’s it.

JOE DELUCIA says:

ok thanks when doing this witch bolt is it I think there is two and do I
need to support anything

JOE DELUCIA says:

Brian under the rear of my focus by where my springs are there is what
looks like a bolt covered with rubber stick up there is one on each side of
the car is that supposed to be like that? I never noticed this befor and im
always looking under my car. also is it ok to use ramps to raise the rear
of the car I do it in the front all the time I have heavy duty metal ones I
took pics of these bolts

FordTechMakuloco says:

as long as the plate that touches the pan is wide like a block of wood to
span the load out then its ok.

FordTechMakuloco says:

yes unbolt anti roll mount and check the cavity for rocks and debri
grounding it out.

JOE DELUCIA says:

ok this may be a stupid question and I dont want to sound like a pest but
is the lower mount under the car the same as the anti roll mount ?. some
ppl call it the dog bone cause of the shape

JOE DELUCIA says:

I just got your message ok thanks a lot for the above info it really helps
me a lot

JOE DELUCIA says:

Brian hi I wanted to ask you if I have a triple lift jack its made by power
built do I still have to use wood I ask this because it is in a square
shape and the sadle is removable I also have a regular low profile jack .
if you have never seen the triple lift check it out soon I will be buying
my mount . I hear nothing but bad things about the after market mounts and
how they dont last very long . the only place I can locate a motocraft 6038
mount is the dealer. about $177.00

JOE DELUCIA says:

I saw the tsb on all data diy that I have I thought they would have a
picture of it but I cant find one. but I will check that first. can I get
the rocks out with out removing anything? maybe I should take out the mount
and check it befor I buy one?

FordTechMakuloco says:

I used a paint pen because a little brake clean and it come off, but a
sharpie marker will do also. The anti roll mount is underneath center
backside of the engine, mounts by where the trans and engine meet looks
like a figure 8. Rocks get stuck behind it where it mounts to subframe. I
would check this out first as it happens primarily in reverse when the
engine torque loads the mount rearward. Search for tsb 8-5-6

JOE DELUCIA says:

when can I locate the anti roll mount and what did you use to mark the
mount to the body?

FordTechMakuloco says:

Never seen the other side which is the trans mount go bad like the right
hand side engine mount in this video. Go ahead and check it like I show in
my video. Other thing to check is the rear anti roll mount under the car
for rocks causing the vibration when the engine is loaded a certain
direction.

FordTechMakuloco says:

Hardware store should have it all for ya.

JOE DELUCIA says:

I for got to say that I dont have any air tools yet so I will be doing this
job with ratchet and sockets . im working on getting air tools I a new Diy
where can I get the lock tight and marker? I also need to by the wood.

JOE DELUCIA says:

Brian hi I just watched your video. I have a 2003 ford focus 2.3 its the
wagon. the dashboard and steering wheel both vibrate while in Reverse with
my foot on the brake . every one tells me to change this mount but some
even say to change the transmission mount at the same time. anyway I feel a
lot more confidant now after watching your video.

FordTechMakuloco says:

Not sure, it was already part of the Sony Vegas Template, and I have never
seen transformers, sounds good to me though.
