Hello guys I got a 99 Durango when I put it in drive and push the gas pedal my rpms jump up to 4 is that a bad sensor looking for some help only had the vehicle for a week now
What if the code still comes up after replacing it? Does it mean I bought a new bad one? I clear the code and instantly the check engine light comes back on but it does seem to be idling a lot better
Got this part installed and for some reason when I start my truck the rpms rev up to 1700 and then go back down to 600. Not sure what I need to do in order to fix it…
Videos very helpful my brother was about to spend $500 to take his truck to a shop this fixed it for $40
So I have a 98 dodge ram 1500 with 282K miles. When it idles it randomly revs up to 2K RPM. On the highway driving it will surge a few hundred RPMs and last week for the first time I was approaching a stop light and it just kinda sputtered and died out of nowhere. It hasn't done it again since then but it's strange. What do you think it could be?
