Caleb Boerner says:

I hope to God the day never comes when I can identify the year of a PT Cruiser just by looking at one!

Jerome Barry says:

It is a much easier battery install than I have on my Intrepid. As for the cost effectiveness of vroom-vroom, my 'Trep is much disassembled in my garage while I slowly try to solve a problem that every other owner in the world would have called 'junk'.

Thomas LeMay says:

The Dodge Neon and PT Cruiser share the same engine transmission. Where I live it is often extremely hot and the speed limit is 70 miles an hour. Had four Dodge Neons in the fleet at the same time . In the summer you could not go 70 miles an hour and have air conditioning. The ECM would shut off the air conditioning unit every time you went to a throttle setting open enough to hit the recommended speed on the highway or encountered a hill. Making all four cars undrivable 10 months of the year . Most of our fleet vehicles were disposed of at 300,000 miles. Very difficult to get to that mileage when the car is can only be driven 2 months of the year.

Booze_Rooster says:

I used to regard the PT Cruiser with disgust and disdain. Went to the Maine Gambler 500 back in 2020 and another team showed up with a bone stock PT cruiser they stopped and bought on their way up from New York state out of somebody's yard to fill an empty space on a trailer they had. They also had a lifted 2005 Cadillac limousine and the floorpan, steering column, engine and driveline of an Acura that had a fire with a Bradley GT body grafted onto it.

The first morning we rolled into their campsite ready to tag along with them they had the PT cruiser apart. Thing had a bad radiator leak so they went and fished a radiator out of a junk car. They had to hook up the hoses and bleed the radiator off the car, then mount it awkwardly 90 degrees to the original configuration. Snapped it back together and we rolled out. For two days every car in our two groups broke down. My Volvo wagon roached a clutch trying to pull my buddy's flooded 84 4Runner out of a clay pit sunk up to its headlights, the limo had fuel issues and the bradley suspension collapsed in the rear and started rubbing through the wheel wells.

BUT WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT, that PT Cruiser kept on going with a Toyota radiator full of muddy creek water, bald tires and a check engine light. 2AM the morning after the Gambler we heard them slapping the rev limiter trying to get it up the hill behind the camp. It finally high centered back there. The next morning before we left we all shot at it with about 500 rounds of 5.56 and 9 mil. For shits and giggles we walked up there and the damn thing still started up and idled. Credit where its due.

Joseph Fleeman says:

Thank GOD i can fix my own cars.

Absaalookemensch says:

Liquid detergent and water mix sprayed on wasps will kill them.

krwd says:

its why we need to go back to timing chains period these belts need replaced every 80-100 k miles

Ross Carter says:

25:13 So what I hear is Ray does better work, and your car becomes famous (potentially) at a cheaper rate. Well, that's a no-brainer.

Maynird 68 says:

Do you ever get customers that bring you a car that the gas tank is on empty? We have this happen a lot at our body shop. Our shop does not have a gas pump. How do you do business with people when you have to put gas in their car?

James Matthews says:

They only made those cars 10 years , that's 9 years and 11 months to long
