I started having idle issues(rpm tach jumps around a little) cruising at 1500ish rpms the engine sounds fine but rpms still bounce a bit and every once in awhile it feels like a hard shift but the transmission is fine. I changed the IAC, TPS, EGR, EGR solenoid. I'm hoping it's just the ICM or Coil.
Just bout the part and went to fix it and then found out my pickup coil was disintegrating. Has anyone ever seen this? And do I have to replace the whole distributor?
Would this make the vehicle not want to start at at I have a 1994 Chevy Blazer and it does not crank are anything when you try to start it it just makes a single click sound and all the power goes off and when you let off power comes back
Another one of GM bright ideas
My 93 truck won't shift without letting off the gas. It'll act like it's hitting like a rev limiter. Once I let off gas it'll shift just fine. Anyone have any idea on this issue?
Will this cause no power to fuel pump
Hi guys , can you tell me what is good ohms range for the good ICM different with the bad one , thanks
My 94 GMC Sierra C3500 didn't have a metal plate on top. Does it make a difference in the way my vehicle runs?
Do you know what the part number for the plug that you remove at 0:50 is? Mine broke when I was removing it and I need a replacement.
When I go in reverse sometimes my truck stalls but starts right up with no problem. And also when I turn my steering wheel all the way to the left or right it stalls sometimes.
What are some of the symptoms of a bad icm? That would be very helpful
My 95 k1500 5.7 cranks but only starts if primmed and dies in a second or two i have spark but it like the injectors arent getting fuel or just not spraying, i can hear fuel pump priming but something just aint right and i cant put my finger on it, new ignition starter switch aswell
I got a 1994 C1500 5.7L 350 TBI 2WD, extended cab long bed, and I don't know whether I have the DI or HEI distributor…? the two options for Ignition Control Modules are the one you used the D1943A (which was the non HEI), or the D1984A (HEI) I honestly don't know which is right ? any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance
