Austin Vickers says:

oh so you just got little things to do, the biggest thing is the paint,
souldnt take but 5 days to do, week tops

elcaminochevy says:

wow nice build man………… was it a lot of work?????? …… im planing
on doing something similar a 383 with 700r into a rx7 but I like how your
supra came out kudos !!!!!!!!!

Dillon Youngquist says:

i made a youtube account just to comment this…..sk8forlife90….ur a
dumbass supras origionally had a 6 cylinder

justin zindle says:

hey i love this build im doing something like that now it a 1993 celica gt
i really could use your help like do you have any closer up pics of the
motor mount you had made or blue prints of them can you please text me with
more info on them my number is 607-221-1135 and my name justin thanks

pimbuk says:

Do you have the wiring diagram u used for this? Was it a carbed 350?

Vacationtime247 says:

I can make more horsepower for less money this way. 1/4 mile times will be
in the mid 12’s, even faster with a 125hp shot of Nitrous. To build a 7MGTE
or a 1JZGTE would of cost thousands more and be a pain in the arse to work
on too. VT247

Austin Vickers says:

dude you did a shitty job, you got wires hanging off it and hoeses hanging
off, im going to put up a vid of my chevy at the end of the summer to show
you how its supposed to be done

Jza70 says:

@sk8forlife90 Wow your ignorant, just leave along with everyone else that
thinks a Supra is a 4 cyl. car.

cs35043cs35043 says:

looks like it was meant for it, good job man. got a chance to take it for a
drive hows it handle?

Rote70SS says:

Excellent job man! I’ve got a 240Z that I’ll be swapping a LS6/T56 into as
soon as more funds are available. Gonna stick with fuel injection on mine,
use a Megasquirt in place of the factory ECU. Gonna try to keep it quiet,
hopefully make a bit of a sleeper out of it. Can’t wait to see more
progress!

BboyBlackout says:

Hey. Love the build. What mounts did you use?

SupraManTT says:

very nice! 🙂

Vacationtime247 says:

@sk8forlife90 Car is stupid fast. Loud as hell and can kick it sideways
leaving tracks all the way down the road.

I have a video up of how I did the motor mounts. In the description and
comments it shows how I did them. In the Youtube search bar type ‘ motor
mounts 350 Supra ‘ VT247

Vacationtime247 says:

You should really go with an aftermarket 5 speed, 700R4 or a 200R4.
Remember that the rear axle ratio is probably a 4.33 rear gear. Great for
take off, but you’ll wind out at around 100mph. The overdrive is albeit
necessary if you plan on driving it on the street. That or swap out the
rear gear assembly (3rd member) to a 3.73 LSD (limited slip differential)
from a later model Supra. VT247

BLACKSHEEPc10 says:

yeah man very nice job don’t listen to that idiot , the 350 can make 500+
hp naturally aspirated with the right heads/cam combo, make sure to slap a
billet serrvo on that tranny , superior makes one for about 60 bucks and
will help alot , i personally have a 200-4r in my c10 truck bullet proffed
and im very happy with it

Duncan2037 says:

Good video. A pushrod V8 looks at home in this chassis.

Real Nice Work, Would Love Seen it Run. Best Security System As i can See.

Honda says:

sorry guys but any project you want too do you need to cleaned first, you
need help about how drees cars, I can’t show some like that right here,
sorry but is the truth, is better take time to finish not matter how long

zack mcclain says:

lol this is awesome if i was forced to have a tuner this would be a must

hellsdeadjuggalo says:

@sk8forlife90 it came with an inline 6 that actually has alot of torque if
you got the turbo model still nothing like a nice sbc though

james smith says:

i like it. nice job, a 350 will make reliable HP all day. Im wanting to do
a 7mgte swap on my 87 supra, Target HP 700.

mouatech says:

original motor was a inline 6 not 4. nice build tho.

Nathaniel Wright says:

@Vacationtime247 thanks

Austin Vickers says:

how long is it taking? i put my vortech in in three days

Nathaniel Wright says:

who sings the first part of that song at 0:13?

gsx2vr4 says:

wow….wtf? that seems to be every rednecks answer when they cant get
enough horsepower out of the toyota motor it came with …MULLET MOTOR sbc
….. 7mgte 1jzgte way more potential and you dont have to fabricate all
that jenkiness……lets see some horsepower numbers or 1/4 mile times that
will into perspective how pointless this really was……and the gun just
points out the redneck thing even more……WEAK SAUCE WEAK FKN SAUCE

domesticbuilt says:

lol love the security optional system !!

TranceBeatPony says:

@sk8forlife90 these had a 3.0l 6 cyl in them. they werent bad engines the
7m series has a good soul just not enough torque stock, lol this definatley
helps out :D.

TWBouska says:

damn dude this is the set up im putting into my el camino….i cant even
imagine how much ass it would make this supra haul…still will get great
MPGS with the overdrive too…props man this is such a cool build.

Vacationtime247 says:

I had to massage the trans tunnel in some places with a hammer. Had to cut
a notch in the original transmission mount to make clearance for a servo.
None of that was hard. The suspension is 100% stock Supra. The driveshaft
is 90% from a Chevy 700R4 equipped truck except for the end. The machine
shop welded in a flange and the end of the Supra driveshaft at the end so
it would bolt up right. Check out my other video’s on how to do this swap.

jonevans20 says:

I love the vid but I had to stop watching before I went on ebay and bought
an LS to put into my 87. Awesome job on your build.

matthew kidby says:

great work.

Vacationtime247 says:

It wasn’t as much work as I figured it would be. Just figuring out how to
mount the engine was the biggest obstacle. But I figured out how to mount
it and am satisfied with the results. This is another project on hold. I’ll
pick up on it again here soon. I have an ’83 RX7 that I was origanally
going to swap this engine with, but chose the Supra instead. The RX7 still
runs with the rotary. The RX7 is lighter, but I like the body of the Supra
more. Plus it has back seats. VT247

AL says:

with lots of money and the right block you can make 1000hp naturally
aspirated with a 350

Chauvinisticzero says:

you should spray the rustoleum on with a hlvp

Vacationtime247 says:

As long as it takes to get it done and running well. Obviously they didn’t
put 350/700R4 Chevy’s in Toyota’s so it’s taking me a bit longer to finish.
I still need to put a decent paint job on the car, get a windshield (it’s
busted) and a 3.73 rear diffential. The 4.33 that it came with are way to
low. I’m waiting on Advanced Auto Parts to get my passenger caliper in
along with rear pads for the discs. VT247
