Chevy Silverado Headliner Replacement (1999-2006 GMT800) | Step-by-Step DIY Tutorial

Replace the headliner in your 1999–2006 Chevrolet (Chevy) Silverado GMT800 crew cab yourself with this step-by-step DIY guide. This video shows both new and experienced DIYers how to remove the old sagging headliner and interior components (sun visors, overhead console, lights and trim). Learn how to prep the headliner (stripping off old foam) and glue on a new suede headliner fabric for a clean, factory-fresh finish. Use these tips to save money, avoid a drooping headliner, and give your Silverado’s interior a refreshed look. Whether your headliner is sagging, stained or just worn out, this tutorial provides all the guidance you need to fix it yourself and enjoy that like-new feel.

I'm soon going to try this but got to ask what part did the deer antler play ?? I've got quite a few laying around, just curious….LOL

Tried this and botched it horribly the first time. I made the mistake of not spraying the adhesive gradually as I progressed through each half.

Any decent place to find a replacement? Mine had mice nest in it and I'd rather just replace it then spend the time and money and not be able to get the smell out

@rileyritchey5746 says:

What color did you get? The beige looks really dark on the link.

Thank you for your time and information on removing the headliner. I looked at buying a new one and they go as high as 600$ for my 05 tahoe. Since watching your video I will be doing it myself after I heal up from my shoulder surgery.
