I have a 2020 High Country 6.2l w Performance Package. This is my #8 Chevy Truck. One issue that I really dislike is when the transmission won't free wheel going down hills. I'm confronted with this often right in my home neighborhood. I live at the bottom of a hill that is about a 1/2 mile long. If I come up the far side and then go right down the near side, the transmission does not retard the speed much. However, If I stop at the market that is right at the peak of the hill, when I come out and start down the hill, the transmission stays in a lower gear and only partially recovers even when I am having to use the accelerator to speed up while going down the hill. I really hate wasting fuel in the fashion and it is my most disliked problem.
